US Servas upcoming events

Nebraska Area Servas National 9 x 13 Day Brunch & Lincoln Porch Jam (September 13, 2026)

Something Good always comes in a 9 x 13 pan! Join us and celebrate the comfort and joy that this treasured pan brings. Please bring a brunch dish served up in a 9 x 13 pan, family and friends (children welcome) and maybe a story to tell. We want to invite those not yet members to join us!

Coffee, juices, tableware and live original music by Emilove will be provided. You will learn about what is new with Servas!

The brunch will take place in Jackie & Wooly's Big Back Yard which comes with a big friendly dog, Hank. In 2019 Jackie was able to establish September 13th -9 x 13 - as a National Holiday!

Please bring a can of food for the local food pantry.

This is also Lincoln's Porch Jam day with of live music on 6 stages in Cooper Park (8th & F) and porches of the South Salt Creek Neighborhood from 1-5 so bring a lawn chair and enjoy after the brunch.

International Peace Day Event: The Work of Peace (September 21, 2026)

Gather with Servas members, the Servas International Peace Secretary, Servas's main representative to the UN in NY, the President of CoNGO, and heads of other NGOs to celebrate and learn how NGO's work with the United Nations for peace. Presentations followed by informal reception. We will send more details of the speakers when all have been confirmed.

This event is sponsored by US Servas and will also serve as a membership recruitment opportunity, so please invite those who might be interested in joining Servas. Attached below is a poster you can print and post.

US Servas Board Candidate Forum (October 03, 2026)

This will be an opportunity for US Servas members to hear from the board candidates prior to election.

Virtual link to the meeting will be sent out in reminder emails so you can add to your calendars and in the final reminder email the day before the event. Please register and participate!
