Los Angeles Servas Experience:
Downtown LA Walk with Chinatown Brunch
Sunday, January 27, 10:30 – 1 pm Leader: Eric Trules
What we’ll do
This is an architectural, historical, cultural, and culinary all-in-one tour of downtown LA. We will start our tour with a delicious dim sum brunch (Chinese dumplings) in an authentic restaurant in LA’s historic Chinatown. After meeting each other around the friendly brunch table, we will walk over to the colorful, Mexican-style cobble-stoned shopping market, see the oldest home in Los Angeles, then continue to the original Spanish Plaza and Church, the most historic part of the City. We will then walk to Union Station, the beautiful Spanish-styled “last great train station in America”. This tour will be an instant and entertaining immersion into LA’s historic, cultural, architectural, and artistic downtown core. Sign up, eat, walk, learn, and have fun, all at the same time!
