US Servas is looking to help make a Young People's Camp happen this year, in mid to late September. Want to go? Know a good place?

Around the world, Servas members under the age of 30 have been gathering to connect, talk about travel, make lifelong friends, and bring the world a little closer together. Successful camps have happened in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Germany - and probably other places!

We have an opportunity this September because an experienced Servas volunteer from Italy will be working on the East Coast and wants to help bring US Servas members together. We just need people and a place.

Would you know of a camp, or a big lodge, or some sort of place where maybe 20 young people could stay for 3 to 5 nights? Ideally, it will be near an airport so that people from around the country who want to attend can fly in without too much trouble. While this could be in an urban environment, a rural one with opportunities to connect to nature would be lovely as well. Camping in tents might even be possible. A school dorm? A Scout camp? Someone's big country home?

While the fantasy would be we could find somewhere to do this where the lodging won't cost the participants much, the US Servas Board believes in a Peace Camp, and is willing to help fund some part of the costs.
