Matthew Jarvis comes from a biracial family whose parents fought and created an unstable home life that ended in divorce. Faced with the issues of family dynamics, poor neighborhoods, lack of a family model of how to develop healthy relationships and the influence these had on his mental development, Matthew falls into a life of drugs and broken relationships. This is his story of how he came to realize his responsibility in finding the road to recovery.
