You are invited you to a SoCal potluck to meet Lila Carson-Letelier and learn about how she has helped transform Chipatso, in Cape Maclear, Tanzania. Lila, a Servas member who has traveled to 78 countries—17 in Africa—saw a need while traveling in Africa and turned it to her life project! She has been working with youth in Chipatso since 2019 when she was staying in the village. She originally sponsored 10 learners and by creating a community of supporters it has grown to almost 70! The resulting LA Chipasto community has become dedicated to transforming lives by educating vulnerable children and empowering single mothers through employment.
