Program Summary: We have a great program of speakers, workshops, how-to sessions, live entertainment, peace award presentations, and more. The general theme of the conference will be to recognize and learn from the Minneapolis citizens who worked so hard to preserve our Democratic values in the face of government sponsored violence There will be plenty of time for getting to know one another and share stories, including an easy hike along the East River Park trail to Bridal Veil falls, and an optional paddle boat cruise on the Mississippi.
Registration: You can do early registration room checkin starting Thursday, August 6 from 4-6pm or Friday from 11am-5pm. At your leisure you will be able to buy tickets online with a dicount code to visit the Minnesota Science Museum.
Paddleboat Dinner Cruise: An optional Paddleboat dinner cruise cruise on the Mississippi River is scheduled for Friday evening. See the "Fun" page for details on this optional event.
Accommodations: Two person dorm rooms are located in Pioneer hall. The beds have good mattresses, with a desk and drawers below, thus the mattress top is about 36" off the floor. If this is too high for you to manage be sure to check the "Need accessible Bed" option on the registration form. There are options for number of nights and single/double rooms. Meals: Five meals plus refreshments are included with registration beginning with breakfast Saturday and ending with a box lunch on Sunday. Vegan options will be included with each meal.
Registration: Fees are very reasonable and depend on your choices. Registration closes on Friday, July 24th at Midnight.
Refund Policy: Reservations can be refunded LESS a $50 cancellation fee until July 24th. We are unable to issue refunds July 24th.
