The Member Help team still gets requests for eStamps from members who have not uploaded a passport-style photo, nor or any information themselves to their Member Profile. If you have not uploaded a photo to your profile, (see instructions), your likeness defaults to a blue, generic icon (Bubblehead). Unless you are an alien, in which case you must apply for a Servas membership on your own planet, you still need a photo.
If you are planning to travel you need an eStamp for your Letter of Introduction (LOI). Before we can issue an eStamp, your member profile must include the following:
-
The "About Me", "Interests", "Lived in", "Travelled in" and "Spoken Languages" sections of your Servas Member Profile are completed
The photo and information about yourself will appear in your Letter of Introduction which is found in the Travel section of your Servas profile. Also, there is a place in the Travel section of your Servas profile to describe your upcoming trip and your travel interests and goals.
Remember that any time you edit/update or change information in your Servas profile, you need to click on the Save button to make sure your changes are saved. Following these steps will ensure that you receive the eStamp for your LOI.
