You are invited to a Servas potluck gathering at the home of our US Servas Peace Secretary Lilly Lombard! The gathering will help us meet and learn about members of Servas (servas.org) who build peace through meaningful host/traveler connections across cultures, generations, and landscapes. Please invite non-Servas members to come with you! Guests of all ages are welcome but we are especially reaching out to young people so it would be ideal to have some guests in the 15-30 year-old age range. Please invite the youth in your circle! Among the topics to be discussed will be our extended language homestay program (and scholarship!) for youth. As the event nears, we'll let you know what sort of activity we may organize before sharing our meal.
Please bring yourself, a few friends and youth, and a dish to share!

Join us for a long-overdue Chicago Servas Gathering! It will be held in our backyard -inside if it rains. Bring something to share, a good Servas story and a friend or two who would be interested in learning more about our wonderful Servas organization! We are especially interested in attracting youth 18-30 who are eligible for Servas Youth Language Experience (SYLE) - a four week immersion experience in another country living with Servas families - with US Servas scholarship available to help cover expenses.
We have parking stickers available for street parking.
